چکیده

This paper investigates the response mechanism behind an existing tunnel subjected to a long and deep collinear excavation in Shenzhen granite residual strata. The maximum depth was 18.0 m minimum soil above crown only 6.3 m, causing appreciable heave transverse deformation. Two-dimensional parametric numerical study is adopted examine impacts of influential factors (excavation dimensions, ground permeability coefficient, exposure time base) on responses. hardening model with small strain (HS-Small) used stress–strain behavior. It found that long-term deformation after unloading cannot be ignored. will continue consolidate deform, due dissipation negative excess pore water pressure. significantly affected by geometry. Finite Element Method Analysis of Influence on Subway Tunnel Adjacent to Excavation by Excavation Construction

The interaction influence on subway tunnels adjacent to foundation excavation was produced by excavation construction, and it is great significance for the correct assessment of its size and influence on the safety of subway operation. Based on the foundation excavation project, some typical foundation excavation profiles are selected, the calculation and analysis on additional settlement and h...

Assessment of Tunnel Excavation on Surface Settlement

The expansion of underground structures is important in urban areas with high population density. In most large cities in the world, urban development is spreading along the structures. These structures are generally located at shallow depth; therefore study of shallow tunnels in urban areas is critical for development. During the excavation of tunnels in urban areas, creating the asymmetric se...

Underlying Factors Influencing Alcohol Metabolism

Gene variants encoding several of the alcohol-metabolizing enzymes, alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) and aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH), are among the largest genetic associations with risk for alcohol dependence. Certain genetic variants (i.e., alleles)—particularly the ADH1B*2, ADH1B*3, ADH1C*1, and ALDH2*2 alleles—have been associated with lower rates of alcohol dependence. These alleles may lead ...

Numerical Analysis of Advanced Displacement in Construction Progress of Tunnel Excavation with Weak Surrounding Rock

Analysis of advanced displacement in construction progress of tunnel excavation with weak surrounding rock is carried out by numerical method and comparison of model test result. In allusion to the problems of regional landslides and extruded large-deformation seriously impacting the stability of rock mass in construction process of large-section tunnel with weak surrounding rock, the elastic-p...
